    Misplaced words on the New Game screen.

    When I start a new games and get to the Cust your world screen lots of words are in the wrong place, Asian Eastern Acrnitcenure is where world size is supposed to be. I have DX 8.1 installed the LSans font I deleted didn't help and then I installed the one that came with Civ III. I have a...

    Never mind everyone I figured it out myself. You can't have Tutorial mode on if you want the grid off. So thanks anyways.

    I start the game fine. I then go into the optitons and, under Map, I hit Grid Controls and the grid disappers. But when I buiuld a city the grid returns and I can't get rid of it, any ideas??

    That is just the keyboard shortcut for Map, then Grid Controls, but thanks for the suggestion. Any others???:confused:

    Just how do I go about shutting off the damn grid?? I went under the map menu and click the Grid Control button and nothing happened. What else does a guy have to do?? :confused:
