Thanks for the reply. Ok, I admit that trick was a bit unfair to AI, but in reality, trees do mature and we should get a chance to re-clear it in a few decades. Does that hold true in the patch?

From the manual, I got the impression that corruption level in all cities, regardless of their distance from capital, is the same. That didn't prove to be the case when I tried it with out of box CIV III. Is this an intentional change or bug?
When I was playing with vanilla Civ III, I was able to plant trees on a tile and then clear it in the same turn in order to gain 10 shield to the adjacent city. However, now with patch 1.29 installed. I am no longer able to gain 10 shields when I do that. All the work just went to waste. Is that...
