    Why can't I play civ 3 at work?!

    lan networks make multiplayer games a lot of fun! :) We've probably played 100 multiplayer games so far..

    Sneaky AI

    that rocks heh heh... I've noticed the game is a little more sneaky in their dealings, and the world is more likely to beat up on someone big, or someone little. I've only played one game all the way thru, but I am sufficiently impressed with the AI Chris

    Colony Question

    I would suggest this to be untrue later in the game... there is not any square inch of my game, on a huge map, that is unsettled.. I had 3 colonies taken over by civ city planting... and i have cities on the tundras that are 10's now, so they are all worthless.. good source of oil and uranium...

    i noticed that my civ <warlord, democracy> went crazy when i attacked a civ... everyone on the planet is a democracy, and mutual protection pacts has drawn the entire world into war, all because I wanted some rubber, heh.. anyway... My cities, <about 20-30> went crazy even with a police...

    For those who have played Civ1,2, and 3

    I think Civ I is the easiest... Civ 2 being the next.. Civ 3 just a different animal.. Civ I and II are a lot alike, except in a few ways.. Civ III is a total right turn comparitively... So if you want to learn Civ III, play civ III its too different from civ II to gain much knowledge IMHO...

    Anyone notice that if you try to explore with a galley, that you violate people's borders, and they demand you leave? so either break their borders, or risk sinking the boat off shore?
