Ok, just tried to rename it and it did not work. when i open it, it's still just a text file. Am I doing something wrong here? I took the .txt of the file and it was the same result. Any thoughts?

oops...1.21f. My mistake. From memory, as I don't have access at the moment, when i download it (from your signature) it will download to the desktop. Once I double click on it, it opens and it's just a text file. Nothing else happens.

Can someone please give me the step by step process of installing the 1.29b patch? I am a new mac user and a new civ player as well. I have tried several times to download the patch, without any luck. I keep checking the version of the game and it remains 1.29f. Not sure if I am downloading...
