Taking a shot at this game now that I have a computer that I once more have a computer that can run civ. Prince NHNE since I'm out of practice after not playing the game for about a month and a half I think. Finished the first 76 turns so far, things are going well.
@elitetroops: Unfortunately civ isn't the most intensive thing I used my computer for (that would probably be something like Dark Souls), and as I said it wouldn't really be worth it to get this computer fixed, as the GPU isn't even the only thing that was having issues. Luckily, I did some...
Seems to be that the GPU no longer works, so I'd probably have to send it in to get fixed or get another graphics card, and overall this computer just isn't worth fixing; it would be better to save up and get a new one.
Well, bad news. Computer no longer works and I don't have access to another one, so I won't be able to provide any maps any time soon like I had hoped. :(
Hi hi hi, that was me. I already have a couple maps I could choose from for Napoleon, but both are Fractal and looking at the previous games, I think that maybe something different would be better. I'll try my hand at getting a good Archipelago map for him, I agree that it could be interesting.
Taking a break at 2000 BC for now, BUG broke and I spent the past few hours trying to get it fixed, now that it's done I'm gonna head to sleep before continuing further.
Looks like a good idea to SIP to me; no visible benefit to moving inland at all, and we would lose the coastal start by doing so, as well as the wet corn if we move north at all. Gonna try this one out on Monarch NHNE.
Well, someone wasted no time flipping that coin. Gonna look over the start and give my thoughts in a moment, but first: you forgot the "standard doctrine" part of the opening. I have the thing in a spoiler here for you to just copy and paste in if you'd like.
@elitetroops: I thought you said you already had a Bismarck map ready. If that's not the case I think I could get one; I already have a map ready for Napoleon when the time comes, but I could definitely provide another one for Bismarck if needed.
