No I get no error messages, the game just doesn't start at all. My sound/video drivers have been fully upgraded. I just recently upgraded to Direct X 9.0c and there has been no change. I will contact Atari support though so thanks for your refferal. ;)

No, I purchased th CD legitamitely from Gamestop. I bought the whole package, manual, box, CD everything.

I am using that patch, but when I install it and run Civ 3, it doesn't start. The game won't start at all.
