Does anyone know why diplomacy popups lag the hell out of me but everything else runs perfectly fine on max settings? Even late in the game with like 234324 units it's fine, just the damn popups kill me. I have the static leaders/wonders/religions mods downloaded, but I have no idea how to...

I keep getting "Mod Error: Mods\Fall from Heaven2 \ is an invalid mod directory, ignoring" I tried the fix for Steam, but it still gives me that error.
