I think its a direct x 10/11 issue.
That being said, dx9 version of the game wont even work. Once i load into a game all i get is a black screen (with the ingame hud) and icons that when i move the map trail around ... its weird.
I guess im stuck playing like this. Play for 10-20 turns until...

I havent played c2c in ... idk how many years so if i apologize if i missed something obvious
At the beginning of a turn when the popup for "what to work on next" for a city shows up, i noticed that i only have a few buildings and units there, nowhere near what i could actually build or...
Is there something that I could do on my own to fix this until it gets properly fixed?
Idk, delete a file, modify something ... ?

Hmmm ... I might enable unlimited wonders as well if thats the case.
With the amount of wonders there are, it would suck not being able to build more of them in my cities when i reach a later era.
We cant even demolish some of the old ones ... so yeah, i think unlimited wonders is the way to go.
If you start the game in the industrial era (this is what i used to test this) and then click on the industrial era lifestyle research the game will freeze for several seconds (even up to a minute).
It unfreezes at some point and then any action that you take, entering a city to build...

One more question, unrelated to the above ... Did you guys remove the ability to enable/disable game settings mid game? I wasnt able to find a way to do so in the world builder.
I was playing my game now and i was about to settle my second city and i wasnt quite sure where to settle ... closer/farther away from my initial city.
I was thinking 6 tiles apart so that each city has 3 tiles around it to work once metropolitan administration is researched.
