    Well, I updated the video card, which was NOT easy. It worked!!! I can now see beautiful blue relationship lines in the foreign advisor box!! Thanks!

    Thank you for your reply! I went home last night and did Windows Update and downloaded the most recent version of DirectX. Neither worked. I guess I'm just not sure how to check the video drivers to see if they're up-to-date. Would you help me with that? Thanks!

    I just bought Civ3 - the most recent version. The relationship lines in the foreign advisor screen did not show up. So I downloaded and installed the latest patch and went back to the game I was on before and the lines are still not showing up. Please help! I'm using Windows 98. THANK YOU

    Longest session of straight Civ3 playing

    I limit myself to 30 minutes to 1 hr. Then I have to do something else. But then I come back and waste more time later. Too bad all of us can't harness all our CIV power to fuel some big power-plant with all the energy we put into the game. Like every time we go on CIV, it's like a hamster...

    Foreign Advisor Screen

    I don't see any relationship lines in my foreign advisor screen. Has anyone ever had that problem? I'm thinking I probably need to install the latest patch. How do I do that?:crazyeye:
