I usually play huge map but i do sometimes reduce the number of opponents. Will have a play around with map sizes/number of opponents and see what happens.

Has anyone else had the problem of no oil anywhere on the map? I have played 3 games in the last month or so and each time not one civilization on the map has had oil as a resource. This leads to wars and invasions without tanks, mech infantry, air and modern naval units and it does start...
