I wouldnt say that any wonders are by definition "important," it just depends on your strategy. Pyramids are one of my favorite wonders personally because of their versatility... and Cristo Redenter is also quite powerful... but if I'm going for a cultural victory I NEED Michaelangelo's Chapel...

I see your point about Musketman and Pikemen supporting each other -- that does make perfect sense. The thing that doesn't make sense is that Pikemen have a 25% chance to kill Cavalry units regardless of whether or not a Musketman is in their tile.
While I have no doubt that...
Maybe airships would be better in the game if you could only have 2 per city? I do like them, but I also think a good tweak would be to make them somewhat less likely to be abused.

I'm glad the AI pulls crap like this now, keeps things interesting :)
I voted No.
Edit: Seige units can't take down defenses from ships right now, if I'm not mistaken... but they can attack at the standard - amphibious penalty 25%

I agree with the upgrade path thing also...
I think Cossacks (and cavalry for that matter) should get a 50% or 100% bonus against melee units to represent their ranged weapons that don't require a significant reload time to allow enemy advancement, as muskets and cultraissers and archery...
I'll speculate that it's because on higher difficulties he gets a bunch of free Skrimishers and that ensures that nobody can attack him early. I also play on Marathon so maybe in contrast to your games he has more time to exploit his tech lead. I play Prince when I play MP with my girlfriend...
