    Tech speed problems

Came back to the thread and saw ales direction on how to upload a file, so here is an example of what it is like to play Babylon and have the players around you appear with twice as much tech.

    Tech speed problems

Hey, just wanted to give some feedback on this mod, and I saw this thread. I recently came back to Civ 4 after just never being completely satisfied with Civ 5. I normally played Realism Invictus or FFH, and had not played RFC in a very long time, so I thought this would be a great modmod to...

    Bug Reports - Post Here!

Yup, also seeing this problem. I am playing a game where Arabia is doing incredibly well, and when you mentioned this I did some spying on their desert cities and sure enough they are powerhouses because all the tiles are getting their bonuses....

Community Patch - How To Install

First of all, GREAT MOD! I was hoping there is a way to get the Health and Plague mod to work properly with CSD/C4DF + NO EUI Compatibility patch? I really like Health and Plague, but when used with the Compatibility patches the top info bar reads "HEALTH" instead of a % and the city info also...

    Realism Invictus

The problem is partly with how Civ generates resources, compounded by how many resources exist in RI and how many civs are in your game. I'm guessing you guys seeing problems are using 30-50 civs on your random maps? I had this problem in the past when I would play the Rise of Mankind mod and...

    Realism Invictus

I've started a new game with the latest SVN and wanted to make a couple comments about the mine / precious mine. First, I'm not sure it was really necessary to break these up, but I guess I can see that you wanted one mine for industry and another for commerce. OK... The problem I see is now...

    Realism Invictus

Figured....RI is incredibly stable for the complexity of the mod...can't ask for much more.... I've only had the problem on the GEM sized "giant" maps, put in many hours on 8000 tile size maps, and no problems so far. Absolutely, they should get tougher, it just needs to be a bit more...

    Realism Invictus

I know right?!? I am playing Aztecs so there was no human interference over there, and when I finally got to see how Europe turned out I was shocked to see Rome was the dominant power, and the number #2 dominant power was....Armenia!!! I just haven't played enough games to know if there is a...

    Realism Invictus

This is fascinating to me too, because whenever I play the large map I'm always curious to see who survives the power struggle in Europe. The previous game I played France became the super power, but in the game before that and the current game I'm playing France got wiped out. The Roman...

    Realism Invictus

Serfdom started to go away in the early Renaissance period in the West because it was more profitable to the ruling class for the workforce to gravitate towards cities and join the various cottage industries than it was for them to have to be supported on the land to produce food. It became...

    Realism Invictus

Yeah, I only had to see one of these to immediately switch to Caste. With 20+ cities playing at extra slow speed, I was going to get pretty messed up trying to wait until I had my own arquebus. Occasionally I get as many as 3 revolts in a turn, so an unlucky string of revolts would have messed...

    Realism Invictus

On a separate note, I just noticed that my Teocalli pagan temples and slave markets still give a % gold income bonus to city despite being obsolete and running under the wrong civic. Is this a bug?

    Realism Invictus

Yes, I keep the most defensive terrain garrisoned for just this reason. I'm fine with barbarians and revolts in general - I am playing on Emperor. My point was that it is unlikely that slaves or peasants are going to have more technologically advanced weaponry and units than their parent empire.

    Realism Invictus

I'm about to resume the game. Yeah, obviously I can kill 1 of them now and again by feeding it cheap units, but it is still unreasonably tough. Even if I had Arquebusiers, it would take 2 to kill it on average. As it stands, my toughest level 5+ units only have about a 12% chance to kill this...

    Realism Invictus

In my current game I just hit Renaissance and since I'm running Serfdom, just got to see my first Renaissance level Revolting Peasant. This thing is tougher than anything I've got by a longshot. I can't even make Arquebusiers yet, not for another 15 turns or so, and even if I could these would...
