you have one point on the map where your . .. .. .. . enter from europe. thats the point where you last set sail for the old world... so a big kingdom or pirate raiding can realy be hard. so i normaly get the smuglers house so i dont have to wurry about the trade, just war and pirates... no...

just build a wall with dragoon around your land : ) or kill the europeans off so they dont get units to suround you with

yea i have my own rules... If one of the other europeans get 20+ colonists i lose. I have to get independence before 1800 (late, late game but hey i like the game OK) get 100% at Viceroy and thats it.

wow massive post, sry for all the text but i find my gameplay to be fun and efective, its worth reading... got a bit carried away there but i was bored as i was loading the game at my girlfriends and shes sleeping...
