I find the slavery civic to be underwhelming in the recent releases. In the old small map there was bonus commerce for mines - this made sense for the classical civilizations where mines are the most common improvement.
What about allowing slavery to capture barbarian slaves to build local...
If a company like the textile company could also cover the fur trade this would be an interesting Russia / Canadian expansion mechanic.

In past games playing Japan and building iputu dam in Korea / Manchuria, northern China Beijing etc are not given power but southern China and india receives power. Not sure if this is intended. If I find again I will upload
One thing I have noticed is for Chinese cities flipping to the Mongols - reconquered core cities that have flipped resets the culture accumulation therefore affects resource allocation. I suppose this is how the flipping mechanic is implemented...
