I just started playing civ3 conquests yesturday if there any good threads for complete newbies? i been playing civ 2 for years but civ 3 is very different and totally confuses me. 2 things relaly getting to me... how do i turn off the auto builder thing, when my city finishes building...

im using mp gold 1.3 i think when ever i give them stuff their attitude goes up but then on the next turn it goes down again. even with eiffel tower and united nations everyone is hostile after 2 turns :(

How do you get other civs to like you? ive never once managed it, no matter what i do, what wonders i get, they always hostile towards me :(
