Could I possibly get a quick summary of how hard each civ in RoR is to play? Like, easiest to hardest? Thank you.

    My wins don't save!

Well, I looked at the other threads and the most common replies ("Put NoSound=1 in your config file" and "Rename your movie files") did not work. I was wondering exactly what the screen after the Victory Status screen was so that I would have some idea what to look for going wrong.

    My wins don't save!

I'm playing the Conquests on Civ3 Complete. For some reason, when I finish one, a message box comes up right after I click the "X" on the Victory status screen, saying, "Civilization 3 Complete has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please report this...

Or, if you meant "Where do I put maps in order to play them in-game", you can put them in the folder "Scenarios".

    Win error

I'm playing Civ3 Complete, and I'm doing the Conquests. There's just one problem, though: when I beat the Conquest and go through the victory screens, this message pops up saying "Civilization 3 has encountered a problem and must close. Sorry for the inconvenience". I report it, although that...

Go to where you installed Civ 3 and open the Scenarios folder; it should be there.

    Civ3Edit-Minimap

If you downloaded the 1.2-something (I'm thinking 1.29?) patch, it should have added the minimap to the editor. That's what happened for me, at least.

Okay. I was just wondering if there were any that someone could recommend, because it's somewhat frustrating to go through and look through every one when they're almost all for Conquests.

Well, thank you, although I don't see how that information explains why putting the city directly on takes away the benefit. And btw, when I said upgrading, I meant terrain enhancement; irrigation, mining, roads, etc.. Sorry about that, I can see how misleading it is.

    Quick Answers / 'Newbie' Questions

On the main site, in the strategy guides, something is repeatedly stated that I just don't get. Could someone please explain it to me? They always say to put cities NEXT TO bonus resources and not ON TOP OF them. They explain this by saying that you won't get any benefits from it. But I...
