    how many tiles does each city get when you ICS? i have never really gone all out with ICS, so i wonder how big each city would get. if each city gets four tiles, then you would want aquaducts later on when you get rails.

    specialist farming is what it's all about in c3c. when i played vanilla, i never really bothered. i am currently playing an emperor game in c3c, now in the industrial era, and specialists are a huge part of my science/treasury input.

    what level are you playing at? at higher levels, you should want to build a granary early in one of your first cities to pump out the settlers. this is the best use for a granary. if you want a granary in every city, wait until the AI builds the pyramids, then take it from them :) good point...

    a quick note about forest shield award. yes, it goes NE first, then clockwise, and out to two tiles out, but it will not go to a town if the town is N-N, E-E, etc. in other words, the forest has a fat x around it, a town has to be within the fat x to get the shields
