If you read the info box on the left when mousing over the "discover tech" button, it will show the exact amount of hammers given compared to what's needed to receive the tech.

Same problem. Just alt tab to the desktop, then go back to the game. Hopefully, this will be addressed in the patch.

At the center bottom of the city screen there are the "governor" buttons. The top row has the "hurry production" button. I don't know if it'll work for Wonders, it didn't in Civ III. You might need a great person to rush that.

Played for about 6 hours last night; 5 hours this morning, no crashes or any problems (except for slight stuttering during some Wonder Movies). My answer would be zero also.

The only problem I Have is the Wonder Movies will sometimes stutter. Running P4 3.2, 1Gig Ram, GForce 4 6600GT, and an old SB Audigy.

Went to the Springfield NJ Gamestop @ lunch and it had just arrived. After the clerk checked to see if the preorders were covered there were 2 left. Lucky break; he gave me the preorder version. I'm now set for the (seemingly) longest afternoon and commute home.
