As Civ 4 approaches, anyone else is feeling scared that, I don´t know, maybe you will suck at it? I keep thinking "OMG, all the wonders I try to build, someone will build before me and all I will get is a refund..." or "War is harder, if I can´t get one big stack and march forward, I don´t know...

But please don´t call it Civ, Civ is the ONE good TBS game that exists, that´s it, there is no other. I like to not think about what happens during the battle, I don´t like to think fast..

And have to be spoken by true roman legionaries. I won´t accept anything that didn´t came out of a time machine.

If the odds are green, I attack, if they are red, I don´t. Easy. Why people like math is something beyond me.

Funny thing is, I bet that in some random "mothers against videogame" association there are crying ladies saying "my son is addicted and don´t admit it" and then someone reply "listen, I found a great home page one of these days..."

Random. I always play random. The pressure of having to chose a civilization is just... too much... I don´t trust myself in this kind of decision.

I think it work better in small maps and quick games, I imagine you get 3 or 4 great cultural leaders in the entire game, so you can count that it´s 3 or 4 "free" cultural flips for game (but I don´t think that a culture bomb grants an automatic cultural flip). In a standard map, 4 cities more...
