honestly theres plenty of solutions in this thread, one of thems bound to work. I posted one the other day here that forces the game to run no matter the graphics card or situation so that may help you. Should be back a page.
Hey guys! I found a solution!
So I too had this "fudge you your graphics aint **** -sincerly sid meyer" message, and I found a slick little way around it.
First find your steam folder address for the Civilization 6 .exe file, and just make sure you remember where it is
(note i'm running windows...
I still play it. I'm in the middle of a massive match with a bunch of friends. We've been going about 1 week now, hopefully it continues on a bit longer.
Alright so some friends and I started up a longplay (we hit 20 hours lol) of civ iii conquests multiplayer. There were four of us, myself as the Americans, and the others as the Japanese, the Aztecs, and the Incas. When we started up the match the Incas and Aztecs spawned on a massive continent...
If I can afford a copy of brave new world this'll be the first thing I do. I have to wonder though, can you play as the south? Would be an interesting add-on if they made the confederacy a playable civ. High agriculture and military prestige but extremely low production maybe?
Well Check the ports that you have open, the list of the ports you need open can be found in the firewall topic at the top of the page, and if that doesn't work then go ahead and try hamachi it works every time.
So when you're in a match online it shows your username, player numbers, and color in the upper right corner. on the right side of your name/nation is a number that changes as the game goes on and as your civ progresses. We were wonder what that number is exactly and what it represents.
Thanks...
Okay so i found the solution:
If all else fails, move your directory directly into the C drive, not under any sub folders. That fixed the font error.
AFTER THAT though I got an draw-buffer error, which I fixed by using this:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Okay so I bought civ 3 complete on steam the other day,and once it finished installing I tried to run it and it gave me "error code 13, will now exit game" yadda yadda I'm sure you've heard it all before...
Now here's the weird part:
I followed all the instructions I could find on this...
