Hi it may sound weird but i was looking at a mod and they had real life corporations instead of the 8 standard ones, i was wondering if having their logos or whatever in the game was even legal:confused::scan: thanks

i just got it to work by running the version 3.17 patch then i ran the 3.19 and it worked fine. Strange, but it works fine, thanks for help

OS is vista, i have tried to uninstall the game and then reinstalling it then doing the patch, the version of Civ4 Complete i have is default 317, disc, The file is in program files, 2k games, fraxis games Civ 4 complete then it has folders for BTS and warlords with regular Civ 4 folders...

The numbers for the patch were the same as the ones you had

I downloaded patch from this site and started it as administrator, i get to the page after the newsletter registration, i hit install and it dies
