That is the way ffh2 works that you need a specific building to produce each unit.
I don't think that idea should be introduced into VP. It would seem out of place to me.
I agree with your last point.
I mentioned before the difference between early atomic weapons and ICBMs.
I don't think think the game does enough to distinguish between them.
I would suggest first of all Stalker is absolutely right that some sort of diplomatic punishment would be fitting for...
That doesn't make any sense.
Chariots were very limited where they could go without getting stuck or wheels falling off. The horses are clearly going to be much faster without a chariot in tow.
If horsemen are put back (which I don't have a problem with) I would be slightly concerned about chariots becoming more prominent in the game.
Chariots don't deserve to be that important. They were always used as part of an army (never alone) and often only to cause fear.
The riders have very...
You clearly haven't thought through your alpha strike scenario.
A sentry strike won't make any difference since it will be hitting cities and not the amassed forces.
As it works, you launch your alpha strike and can destroy my city infrastructure with your attack. You then have one turn to...
This is great news.
Is there any chance of a thread devoted to a regularly updated version for people who want to playtest but without having to compile?
Can I suggest that you release what you have currently as a baseline version since there is a big difference between Rar 2.7 and the dll...
With a full nuclear exchange during the nuclear arms race this is true.
What we never experienced (thankfully) was a nuclear war in the early fifties where things might have been different.
Without hydrogen bombs and ICBMs we might well have seen a battlefield dominated with tactical nuclear...
I understand the real life point.
In fact I was merely countering the real life argument brought up by Luka when he said " Perhaps that would somehow reflect how in real life, a nation won't be able to continiously use nukes"
So you see, the 'real life' argument is not mine.
My point of view...
What exactly is the point of this sort of artificial limitation?
There is no limit in real life to how many times a nation can use nukes if they have them, and the infrastructure to keep producing them.
Having read through this thread I find it very depressing.
Never have I read such a collection of bad ideas to fix something which doesn't need fixing.
The sentry idea is completely pointless. What is so hard about nuking someone on your next turn?
The whole point of nuclear weapons seems to...
It seems Schmiddie has declared an end to RaR development but has Rar-extended been revived?
Is there currently a forum and if so would it be possible to get a link stickied?
It is a bit confusing at the moment.
Thanks.
