I am not sure about this, but mining every hill (outside fat crosses) enhances the chanche of finding metalls. At least I got this impression during my last games. The info popup says "Small chance of finding...". How does it work exactly :confused:

Just a lurker saying hi to the team. @Ghost: if you run windows (as i presume) you could use mspaint to edit your screenies, its ancient (but good :) ) stuff that still comes with Windows. To start it, simply click 'Start'->'Run'. A dialogbox will open up. Type 'mspaint' (w.o. the quotes) and...

I am not sure if it works for you, but it got mentioned by some unit creators. Try POV-Ray. It is free, fast, quite easy to learn and has a large community. You will find lots of usefull stuff for it on the net. I use it to create animation, molecule graphics, logos .... and my 'secret' toy...

Waving "Hello" to all .... To those who dislike the new look of cIV or think about hwo to handle more than 100 hundred different units... Still rememder your first civ2 impressions? Mine where simple: I had no clue whats going on. The squares were gone and the civ2 settler was impossible...
