Ive played as Ethiopia and Japn and had numerous conferences in both (last one in 1955 as Japan), but they didnt start till 1860ish.
Playing as Japan I received 3 cities frim China. In general, there seem to be more cities changing hands at conferences in my experience
Playing as France I was invaded repeatedly by England trying to take Rennes, but not particularly well. They were sending several boatloads of trebuchets and only 1 knight or crossbowman at a time and consequently were unable to take any cities
I am finding Judiasm impossible to found at the moment with the new patch, monarch difficulty. From 6 starts, the latest it has been founded is turn 41, most times it has been founded by turn 35. The earliest I have been able to complete Monotheism is turn 48 (which included popping...
No worries. Good to be able to take my mind off a terrible defeat for the not so mighty Spurs!
I might be able to have a go at the German- I can mostly remember the grammer from my schooldays, and should be able to borrow a German/English dictionary from someone

As soon as I find out how to add accents, then I will edit them in
German will be beyond me as I have only studied to GCSE level, but I will try to do this in French, although I will need to find my French dictionary. Can it be "we like/dont like" your system of government etc.

1. AI colonization of the med in the classical period has been excellent. I have seen greece colonizing Rhodes and Italy, Carthage building colonies in Spain and Rome controlling much of western europe. However...
I mostly agree with your map, but I do have a few suggestions.
-Swindon is a railway town and not suitable for the time period of the mod. I suggest moving Oxford one tile south and adding Banbury or Statford in place of Oxfords current tile, or Chippenham and Cirencester were towns in the...
I would agree with this. In every game I play, the AI almost always builds it second city 2 tiles from its capitol, and normally on top of a food resource. As a result large parts of europe (particularly in the east) are left empty late in the game.
