italy is ranked as the seventh largest economy and the sixth military power in the world, and it's colture is spread all around the world... i think it is enough to distinguish itlay from the roman empire! if there is carolingian empire in civilization, why not italy? i can't understand...

i think that world's opinion about italy is very curious.... expecially the one of the french. i think that the reason is that they try to hide the fact that italy excels in producing quality food, clothes, wine, cheese, autos and so on... probably better than the french do ;) anyway, i think...
