if the power supply is failing, would it get hot first? I'm not sure how the auto-protect feature works. Do they switch off due to Temp or do they switch off due to power load? Or both for that matter? I ask b/c i opened my computer and have been manually monitoring the temp of my power...

If you download it from the firaxis (or is it take2?) web site, then you need to double-click on it and it will then self-install.

hmmmm.... maybe. But I don't have any slowdowns that I have noticed. And I could play the Fear demo and FarCry okay.
