Futumch,
I used your suggestions on creating my flag and it works! :) I found when I opened Bad Ronald's flag, Photoshop was giving a white alpha instead of a black alpha. This makes sense to me now that I think about the white emblems on the standard flags having a white alpha, wheras the...
I am attempting to make a mod to play with my girlfriend. We want to make flags with our names on them for our nations.
Ive downloaded Bad Ronalds flags and installed the in the CustomAssets folder. These work fine. I then copied this to my Mod folder. Again, works fine. I then opened...
Actually, I am referring to the hard limit of 362 x 362. This was the largest size map the Civ III editor would allow you to build. Since I have scenarios I was hoping to convert from Civ III to Civ IV that are at this limit, if I cannot find a way to up the map size this will not be possible...
I recently attempted to create the largest map possible by incrimenting the <iGridHeight> by five and using the 1.6 ratio given by Raynath. I was able to get my maps working up to 35 x 56. At that point, the game would crash about half way through the loading process. I should also add that...
Hey All,
Basically, I have created an extensive tech list in one era (ancient times). This way, these techs can be traded among all other civs, regardless of what age they are in. Im using the 4 eras to change the graphics of a group (i.e. Elves in ancient, wood elves for middle ages...
I've been out of the loop for a while, but some things I found:
In response to what Tsar Sasha said above, I've actually been playing around with starships functioning as aircraft. So far, I haven't found a successful way of making the AI understand how to use mobile aircraft. Out of...
Haven't browsed through here to see if this question exists. I apologize in advance if it does.
The conquests.biq doesn't have the Science Leader listed as a unit, so I have no unit to use as an example for creating a new Science Leader. I want to make sure a scenario I am making has it...
Glancing through here, I can't find a gold dragon. Could someone do a quick color coversion (with no civ specific color) or point me in the direction of one that already exists?
I think the planets should be larger than 3x3, at least 5x5 so you have to explore each planet. Plus, smaller planets means more sea tiles, which aren't as playable as ground tiles.
They built their stargate. The episode it is mentioned is called Pretense.
If you use it as a means to communicate between Civs, how would you represent using the Stargate militarily?
I would like to see some less advanced nations just to add atmosphere. Are you planning to include only the major powers as civs? If so, just ignore this :) Here's a list of civs I can think of at the moment:
Gua'uld Civ's
- Anubis
- Baal
- Sokar
- Bastet
- Yu
- Heru-ur
- Ra
-...
