The opposite is true for me. Havent played in ages, bored with tedious long games. But as others have said, a Deity game sounds interesting enough to get me back on the battlefield. How glorious that appearance will be... different question ;)

Similar start, took out Zulus quickly. But no ROPs, no trades whatsoever. AIs poor in gold and in GPT. Their week military no challenge. Boring game that I would usually abandon, but will probably complete it for GOTM sake. Going for Domination as Elimination will take even longer - AI settled...

Started out quite focused, vasalled Cathy, the Huayna, then Rome. Didnt touch the game for a week due to a ski vacation, and lost all interest in it. Eventually got around and finished it, but very unfocused. The late-game can be so tedious, especially as the AI kept building cities on 1-tile...

Was so happy to finally get a Deity game, and then it lasted for only 25 minutes. Well my own fault, I thought the Quecha is the UU for the Warrior, but turned out it's just an overdressed worker unit. ;) Going challenger, of course, ;) and my starting Quecha becomes lion food in 3670...

I wouldnt even say you have to be that lucky. For the celts, Stonehenge is a logical wonder (+1 happiness, especially if you have lots of food but no other resources), and with all the forest around, not so hard to get. Once you have that, settling near the copper and waiting to push Cyrus...

Yes - but then, each game unless you lose early takes many many hours, and while I LOVE this game, between job, sports and friends there is just not always enough time. I always thought that you want to encourage people to post games that are less than perfect. Usually if you run out of time...

Hi Denniz, thanks - but that's exactly what I meant - the HOF Mod is insisting to find my CIV files in the "My Document" folder, and I dont understand why ? I dont have them there, and I dont want them there as it is a network drive in my office and I dont want a "My Games" folder on my work...

Thanks for your help, Gyathaar. I did the "Altroot" thing, and when starting WARLORDS, the game replaces all the shortcuts that were pointing to the network with shortcuts to the C: drive. E.g. C:\civ4\Warlords\Saves. So far so good. But starting the game, connected to the LAN, the game still...
