My mid-to-late game was a learning experience. I think I'm ready to "graduate" from noble now. Mid-game diplomacy: I was great friends with Germany, so-so with China. Montezuma and Isabella and Saladin were annoyed due to religion. I traded for open borders, and sent out missionaries...

My main goals in the early game were (a) getting ironworking, (b) building praetorians and catapults, and (c) swallowing Greece. I attacked too early. I failed to remember Clausewitz: It's not about "adequate" force or "pretty darn good" force...it's about OVERWHELMING force! I was beaten...

I just encountered this bug - I sued for peace with Tokugawa after he discovered gunpowder before me. Glad to see it's already been reported :) --Dumple
