    Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice

For a black chick she's whiter than I am, which to anyone who knows me, realizes that I trust her about as much as any other white person. Same went for Colin Powell. To quote Navin R. Johnson: Lord loves a workin' man; don't trust whitey; see a doctor and get rid of it.

    World's Oldest Mom

The mother should not have been stopped from doing what she did. She has the right, as we all do, to our own bodies and what we do with them, especially the act of creating a child. However, as I said in the previous post, she should have known better at the age of 67 than to perform such a...

Agree 100%. She wanted a kid? Fine. Adopt one of the millions that doesn't have a home right now. This is one selfish ***** that, quite frankly, should know better at the age of 67 than to bypass nature for her own selfish goals.

Then explain Latin America. ARTICLE :: snip :: This leaves India with the largest concentration of poor people in the world, particularly in the villages — fewer than 5,000 people — where 60 percent of all Indians live. Staggering as the overall numbers remain — 240 million rural poor...

It's in your best interest to trade with whomever you wish. However, trading for the sole reason of turning a profit is counter productive. It only creates wealth for one person, it does not create wealth for everyone else. If I can use India for an example. Shining beacon of democracy +...

This can't be good for democracy.

That's a prime example of, as Michael Moore puts it "selling a Capitalist his own rope so he can hang himself with it." (paraphrasing). If it makes money they don't really care.

I don't think it can be called bribed/blackmailed... Look at where teh money is in our society and look at the values that those people hold. There's a reason media lacks critical thought. Those that control is want to keep the masses uneducated. The rich have nothing to benefit from the...

This can't be good for democracy.

I understand. But that begs the question of why are independant media sources such as Democracy Now in such dire need of airplay + funding yet media such as FOXnews have more than enough. Someone is deciding what we can, and can't watch + listen to. If someone wants the truth they shouldn't...

Every last iota of me disagrees with GWB and his "ideals" but in no way would I stand for a program that airs attacks against him.

This can't be good for democracy.

The problem is that we, as viewers, should have the right to alternative viewpoints. Something that is severely lacking.

This can't be good for democracy.

Where was the stereotype? For that matter what makes you think it's only an issue with America? All over the world we're seeing uneducated populations. Why else do you think there are voting turnouts of 51% in Canada? #1 reason for not voting? "I don't know the candidates enough". We're...

    Communists/Socialists, Capitalists/Laissez-Faire...

I don't know. That's why I'm always thinking. All I know is that the system does not work. What happens when we no longer have people to exploit? China was one of the last stores of slave labour to be opened. When they start to have more economic sway and demand cheaper goods... Then what...

As I said, the children you see on a daily basis are quite obviously very different from the ones I see on a daily basis. I can't argue with you on that. All I know is what I observe, and I see very few examples of selfishness in children. And to clarify, by children I mean under the age of 4.
