Graphics/immersion - traders, the graphic jump from cart to white van halfway through game sucks. Can we have trader by era graphics, plus embellished to show off each civs current prowess or otherwise through the game. i.e. Make trader graphics meaningful as a civs...
I really enjoy the new balance of more "civil" civs and aggressive barbs in the early game. Come ideologies, my experience is friction between civs spills more readily into war. As the man said, BNW is a builder game, and I for one am loving it.
I've tried. May be painless for German speakers but averaging 4 minutes a turn, with "cliff hangers" at the end of each 20 min episode, like it needs a hook, is not fun, for me anyway.

We are told it will not be like any other civ. What ever that turns out to be, NA Civ has it for my money.
Will we ever have an answer to the unknown barbarian unit?
The unique barbarian has to be part of the clue IMO. A NA Civ in red black is moving out side the box. So explore:
Why not an NA civ starts at war status with all other civs and has to positively make peace (sorry if not PC).
