I would have liked to have seen Israel led by David or Solomon and Mexico led by Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna or Benito Juarez. Kongo would have been great too.

Portugal and Poland are enough for Europe in this expansion.

Maria was a terrible choice for Portugal, but I am looking forward to finally playing as my one of my favorite civilizations. I actually have held off buying Civ V until Portugal was included.

Why do so many people want Argentina?

Admittedly, I don't know much about their history except that they briefly resisted the Spanish in New Mexico. What have they done that would warrant their addition? I could think of dozens of civs (Native Americans ones included) that I think are more noteworthy/deserving than the Pueblo.

I would love to see Israel included, but I doubt it will ever happen due to the controversy its inclusion would generate.

I am glad that Brazil has been included, but I hope this won't exclude Portugal. I really want to see Portugal in the game, and not just because I have Portuguese ancestors... okay... well, I may be a little biased, but Portugal still deserves to be included. It has been a very influential...

I actually haven't played Civ V yet. I'm still holding out for the Complete Edition (which I hope is coming soon), but adding Portugal is a must. Some other civs I think it would be cool to include are Belgium, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Israel (ancient), Kongo, and Vietnam. Anyone know if...
