When hovering the mouse over a specialist slot, it specifies the yield everyone else gets, for instance 3:c5science: science for a scientist. But when the scientist is working, the additional science gets accumulated, so i suppose it's just a tooltip bug.
In Thals mod version 9.2, it seems, the three new wonders aren't giving exacly what firaxis announced them to do. Atleast thats what i experience from the tooltips. Can anyone confirm this?
EDIT: Temple of Artemis doesn't give food growth. Mausoleum of Harlicanassus doesn't give gold for great...
For some reason, when i start a game with the mod enabled, i lose instantly because i have no units. I am quite sure this is a bug related to the new patch, because one of my friends also experiences this.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I have mixed feelings about this, but what to you think of giving 1 :c5production: production bonus to the city that settles upon stone, just like if it were settled on a hill?
I've got to say, combat feels much more fun with the levy and double hitpoints! It's especially the tactical approach you have to use when combatting i like. Defending your cities have never been this fun! Haven't tried conquering yet, but already looking forward to it.
If a more common UB is wanted, a rune-stone could also do the job for that. The runestones were typically raised as a memorial for a great warrior or leader. Although runestones were raised in most of scandinavia, the Jelling stones were actually the first. Therefore i feel it's a rather unique...
Seeing denmark scoring this low, i really want to improve this. The norwegian ski infantry is nice, but i don't feel it resembles the flavor of the viking denmark that both the leader, the UA and the berserker does. Given that i'm a dane myself, i happen to know a little in advance. The Jelling...
your right about the combat unbalance. @seek Its a nice idea, that gives flavor to the wonder, but I think it has to be more powerful. As it is, 25% trade route income can give a massive bonus if used correctly. Still thinking :)
Also, the great wall is the most annoying wonder to be fighting, especially in multiplayer. In multiplayer this makes it even better to build, since your opponent then can't :)
I myself really like the changes to the early wonders, because they give me an opportunity to not go for NC rush in all my peacefull games. The great lighthouse and the colossus are both excelent examples of wonders, that i would never build in vanilla but do so now.
