So i downloaded the latest driver like you said in your post, still was unable to run the previous link you provided me. Then I tried to follow the circumvent instructions but i was unable to download the zip file for the drivers, also it said my drivers were up to date...So something is...

No it just exits the setup

It said that "the driver being installed is not validated for this computer"

I thought I had the most recent drivers for this card? do you know where i could find them?

Yea I did that twice and it keeps saying that there is one file missing and says it is going to get it, but when i run that same process it still says there is one file missing

Thanks for the reply, I have tried 1 twice to no avail, and I did not have that file in the civ 5 games folder in my documents

I can post the rest if needed. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Just bought the game of the year edition on steam and whenever I try to start it, the game loads in a smaller window for a split second, just a black screen, and then goes away. I then receive an error that isn't very specific at all. Here is my DxDiag
