Can confirm this still takes place in 1.0.0.129. When 2 AI's declare on you at the same time it is announced as a formal war, and no denouncement had taken place.
When i first saw it I though these graphics were temporary fill-ins. It looks like a game with polygon count from circa 2005.
Civ 3 was the only game which felt "finished" graphics-wise, taking into account the era in which it was made.
Civ 1 and 2 - look like I made them in mspaint in a day...
The fact that all the mountains on a single continent are the same style (either it's all desert-style or snow-style, so you can end up with desert mountain in tundra and snow mountain in desert). Goes for plains and grasslands too but that's less noticeable.

I think Rome is fine, definately doesn't need a buff but can't blame anyone for wanting a nerf.
The Ballista+Legion gives you a military edge in that particular era of the game, more than any other civ. The legion road building helps to solve the high demand for workers in that era.

Don't build more cities, unless you connect a new luxury resource. Extra cities will produce more unhappiness. Your empire will be bigger and more productive with less cities, so maybe you should even get rid of some of the smaller ones. Perhaps you can go into revolt (-10 happiness) and let the...

For me 2 tiles connected to Mt. Kailash looked like grass (no obvious artifacts except for a small grey dot in the center of one of the tiles), but the were actually mountain.
It's a pretty rare bug but IMHO totally ruins your game if it's in the wrong...
