Thanks for the link to that thread turner. Very helpful. Although it seems to indicate that you CAN attack an enemy in their territory and still get the 25% as long as you are within 2 tiles of the radar tower. Which is good :)

I don't think ybbor was talking about whose territory the battle takes place in. I think what he meant was that if my unit is 2 tiles away from the radar tower and therefore in range and attacks something 3 tiles away, the battle takes place in the defenders tile (3 spaces away) and therefore...

OK I did some searching and I can't find an answer to this question. I know the range of a radar tower is 2. Now suppose I have a tank inside this range and I attack an enemy unit outside the range. Will I get the 25% bonus from the radar tower? Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

Sigh. Yep I can no longer trade gpt for techs. I guess that minimizes the use of this. Still I could see a situation in emperor lvl games and up where you are hitting end of medieval and ready to actually do your own research where this might come in handy although I guess it would be...

I can't recall reading about anyone doing this so I thought I'd post it. To set the stage I'm playing Conquests at Emperor Level, Standard Size map with all conditions random, my own civ random and 7 random opponents. I'm currently about halfway through the medieval age and in 730 AD I traded...

OK, had a glitch there but turn 17 has been passed on now. Turn 18 has also come to me and been passed on. Ditto for turn 19.

On to quillan. And the next turn has come to me and been passed on as well.
