No worries Peter,
Whatever kind of game we get going is fine with us :) We don't typically have hours and hours to sit and play during the week either.
Weekends are really the only time we would typically be able to play for an extended session.
This bothers me also, alot!
I want to help my allies when/if I can.
Wouldn't this make a good suggestion for the next version (if there is one) or expansion? Perhaps it's already in there?
Question along the same lines:
If 2 AI civs are at war, and you declare war one of them...
Hi there Peter,
I was under the impression it was going to be a cordial game, hopefully not every night of the week. We wouldn't be able to play that often.

xfire
Is xfire required to play a direct connect game (no gamespy)? It's my understanding that it should not be.
Pitboss
When you launch pitboss and get to the admin screen and click "finish" is the game supposed to launch automatically or does civ 4 need to be...
It sounds to me like LordRahl's game is a team game.
But we're up for either way as long as no war/conquest. The wife isn't ready for that type of game yet.
IMO, "true level" is what ever level you (as a player) can not win consistently with or one that you get the most fun out of.
I'm stuck on noble and therefore that's my "true level" at the moment (although I am getting tired of losing so much).
Once my strategies, knowledge and game...
