How about when your problem is you cannot even INSTALL the game due to a faulty disc? I can't even return it since I bought it in the US and moved to Japan. Now I'm stuck with 2 $50 coasters. My emails requesting support (which is to obtain a new disc - I'll return them the old ones first)...
Thanks for the reply. If you search the forum on this subject, you will see that it is not a matter of a scratch, but rather a manufacturers defect from the production line. It's just really irritating b/c Civ III was such a great game.

Yea - you guys got off lucky. I live in JAPAN and had the disc sent to me. After waiting for a month to get the game, I can't even play it. It is total BS.
