    To those with d3dx9_32.dll problems

    When I right clicked on the two .dll downloads > "Save target to ..." I just Browsed to My Computer > Local Disk C > Program Files > Firaxis Games > Sid Meier's Civilization 4. The .DLLs went in and the game ran!:)

    Thanks! This advice is the dogs - it solved (for me) both the start-up problem AND the shader libraries problem! Alleluia!:goodjob:
