call them and see I returned mine to EBGames who usually dont accept returns, but apparently they had enough people with problems that they were taking them back.

I already went to ebgames and got my money back :) If they ever fix it, I'll just buy it again, probably from the bargain bin.

In my case, there is nothing else running but the game.

Don't feel bad. I have a GeForce card that plays Doom, GTA, HL2, etc at high settings that won't even run Civ4 at the lowest graphics level as the game is now.

It's definitely not a gfx card issue. If my Geforce4 Ti 4600 can run GTA: SA, HL2, etc etc at high resolutions, then it should be able to tackle Civ4 graphics with ease.

Yeup its a masterpiece allright.... Hanging on the wall is about the only thing it is good for, as it is unplayable

Since this is a GeForce thread I'll post my problems here too as well. Going to the varied advisor screens causes problems (especially F5 one..can't remember what that one is exactly at the moment). Movies crasehd it (fixed by turning them off) Most of the time a game larger than standard size...

I'm in the same boat with you. I cant even get some games to start without the game freezing up/rebooting. Once i get in, I can get at most 10 turns. Sometimes graphical glitches start, sometimes it freezes, and sometimes it just reboots.... I have a Athlon 1900+ with 1GB RAM Geforce Ti...

Im having similiar issues...assuming I get that far. If I try to start a game on a huge world, it just locks up or reboots. On a standard world, after a few turns graphics start disappearing. If i go to see some of the advisors it reboots. I have a GeForce4 Ti 4600 graphics card. A much nicer...
