How did this happen? I was France, and I know I didn't gift it to him. Is this a known bug, or is the computer just finding new and imaginative ways to cheat against me?

I didn't even notice the horses thing. It kind of makes me mad because when I saw I had no horses on my first game, I completely avoided whatever tech gets chariots.

I hope they will be larger. The squares in Civ IV (based on the demographics screen's units for land area) were supposed to be 100 square km each (10 km x 10 km). However, it's already been established that even primitive units like archers can attack units 2 squares away. Now, I don't know...

Hi I've been lurking around the forums since I started playing Civ IV 3 or 4 years ago. I finally decided to join due to the upcoming release of Civ V. I ordered release day delivery and hopefully I will become a more active member starting September 21.
