Surely with updated drivers and the patch I shouldn't need to run in Win98 compatibility

Despite using the new patch my screen still scrolls so I can't see it. I understand that the problem is my monitor, but I should still be able to play it. How do I get the.ini file when I can't see the screen to go even into a quick game? I use XP by the way. I am desperate to play the game...

When is the patch due out

Has anybody got a solution to the reason the screen flickers so badly when played under XP. How can it be stopped. Will a patch be released to correct the problem.
