Has anyone made an effort to extend the game by slow the turns in the early game instead of 40 years down to 20 and so on like that to add more turns for a bigger conquest victory. Also anyone tried to fix some of the occ stuff like score multipler for only having one city so you keep up with...

I have had some trouble in 2 of the 5 games with research in the later parts of the game anyone have this trouble what do i need to do to fix it.
