I haven't heard of anything like this, but you shouldn't have hardware problems regardless of the software you run. Perhaps its time to get a new CPU fan?

I'm having trouble getting Civ2 Simultaneous Multi-player to work. I added "Simultaneous=1" to my Civ.ini and made it read only. Then I host a game over TCP/IP, but its only one player at a time. I had my friend add that line to his Civ.ini too, but to no avail. Any Suggestions? Thanks...
