Chris, I agree with you that French bashing is the flavour of the month as it were and it does sicken me. The French and English both have such incredible histories, I don't get the reason for the bashing.

Ed, You clearly are ommiting the most important facts about Waterloo. The French launched a Middle Guard attack not the Old Guard. The Young Guard was busy with the Prussians whom you omitted entirely. Were it not for the Prussians and the fact that Napoleon was outnumbered 2 to 1 the French...
