I called one EBGames here in Montreal (the one in Cote Vertu mall) and the guy hadn't even ever HEARD of Colonization until I asked him about it. I got the same answer as everyone else in Montreal... "Maybe tomorrow".

Yeah, not saying I disagree, but it is one way to ensure a clean install of the drivers and not worry about any other programs interfering (including, but not limited to any type of video drivers, spyware, Adware, bad DX9 installs, bad chipset installs, etc etc) . It was only a suggestion...

I know its a little drastic. But has anyone tried doing a re-install of the OS, installing your drivers, then the game with DX9 supplied? Just a thought.

No. Just the old 9600 ATI card that was made by ATI itself (and not a third party like most cards from ATI today), about a year and a half to two years old... And latest drivers mean Catalyst 5.10 for my desktop...

Just to let you folks know. Installed the game on both my laptop and my PC (both running ATI cards), and the game is running great. Specs for laptop: Toshiba P30 (about 6 months old) ATI Mobility 9700 128mb Vid Card - Latest version of drivers... 1GB RAM Pentium 4 3.0GHz with HT...
