How can I check for this? When I open a city I don't see any way to see how much happiness it's generating. (I have vanilla version by the way)

Maybe I just went the wrong way with my research, I was making a beeline for Gunpowder right off the bat. That's why I was unable to make stuff like the market or library etc...

N0ob question: Let's say early on in the game before you can make a city dedicate production to Science or Wealth,and you have no more buildings you can make, and your only option is to produce a worker,settler or military unit etc.., BUT that unit will either make more unhappiness or cost...

1) I prefer continents or pangea depending on my mood. 2) Usually the standard amount of civ's the map defaults to. 3) Love Marathon speed,not sure why, always have. But I mix it up and play Standard speed once in a while.

Stupid question as I'm not nearly as good as most of the people that post in here lol. I was playing multiplayer with a buddy, Warlord difficulty when my game crashed. At that time I had 3 unhappiness. When I reconnected (30 seconds later) I had 50 unhappiness! And my citizens turned into...
