In the "What's up with..." thread we figured out that crashes are related to cities falling into disorder. Well I should say "ONE confirmed point for crases..." (Dumpster figured it out and my sure-to-crash-savegame survived the turn :beer:. Please check your critical savesgames and report.)...

Big THX to Dunster. Preventing one city from falling into disorder prevented disorder in my computers memory as well. This worked although I already had disabled the disorder popup in preferences. BradC: Updating DirectX didn't help.

Obviously we haven't pinned down the real problem(s) for crashing yet. This is not our task anyway but if it helps.... I spent half the day reading (almost) all the threads here and I'm afraid I'll add to the confusion. I tested the same critical savegame at 3 different machines. Be sure...
