A farm is already producing exponentially more food in the late game because one turn represents much less time. Imo this is how civ iv mostly represents acceleration of human activity in the industrial era onwards

Only some civilisations can research certain techs in this mod, such as Glass, but most techs that a civilisation cannot research can gain it by conquering a city of a civ that has the tech, or completely a trade order for that civ

Is it possible that someone had researched the tech that obsoletes the wonder? Since the new tech tree was added, or around then, if someone has researched the obsolescence tech, it cannot be built.

You can change this in the worldbuilder, if you select the plot you want to edit with the plot data icon, you will see the culture values for each civ and can change them
