Levgre,
Not too sure about this, but I think that it would wait another 10 turns before decaying again.
This might be a potential exploit, no? :satan:

Can't wait to read this game's report!
Will you post a link here (maybe as an edit) when you have it done?
--ilovesimgolf
PS: Cam_H, will you post your report soon (:drool: Yummy reports!)
Does anyone remember the English in the original CivIII (vanilla)?
They were the perennial under-dogs, and they always ended up being the "doormat", with Commercial (a less powerful financial) and "Expansionist" (cheap granaries; not a big deal, really) and a poor unique unit (Man o' War...
I must say that I love Civilized Jewelers for spreading to the AIs.
I can rake in over 50 gpt very easily with this, and it helps to fuel almost any victory condition.
Generally, I spread it to a few of my cities, then I use those to create more executives to spread to the AIs. Eventually...
I'm relatively new to BtS, and I was wondering:
What good does defying a resolution actually do?
Why should I "defy" the resolution and get the unhappiness if I can just abstain or vote "no"?
Could anyone care to enlighten me of the advantages of "defying a resolution"?
As I see it now, you...
Lurker's Questions:
Is the goal of this game to "act out" the real Shaka?
Or is the "Roleplaying" just meaning that you must win a certain way?
Either way, sounds like fun! :D

Would it be possible to make mirrored maps that mirrored continents, etc? This could be a really cool map!
Does something like this exist, or do I need to go and learn how to use Python to create map scripts?
Nice script, LDeska! :goodjob:

Cool idea!
This would be a perfect game to use "canal" cities or forts (in BtS) to connect these "fjords". Maybe not all that useful, but I always like that concept.
Nice idea, MusX!

Silence,
That is quite the mod! :eek: :goodjob:
I agree that we should have a "strategic" trait, but had a completely different idea for it: what if every trait gave a "unique improvement". For example, financial could have an uber-cottage that produced production as well, and aggressive...
I'd have to agree with shyuhe.
Rushing is not, I repeat not the best thing to do, and more so in BtS.
Imagine the city maintenance costs on those extra cities!
And what about playing on bigger maps?
Personally, I think that rushing is rather game-breaking, and like to play without it...
I've heard the same thing, but have not had the time to actually try it yet. Apparently you need something like this for it to work:
N = land
O = ocean / sea / coastal
L = lake
F = fort
C = city
N N L L N
O N L N O
O F C F O
N N N N N
So basically, you need the city to be on...
Same thing happens to me almost every game! :mad:
I try and settle an "aggressive" settlement by a competing civs borders and then try to found a religion in order to get the free culture and eventually: shrine culture.
But since BtS, I have had the consistent problem of getting the...
Nice list, Bushface!
Hopefully Firaxis will add a "take care of the environment" model to the late game.
This would have been good to include in BTS, no?
Wish I were as creative as you with these things!!! :lol:

Don't worry about religion spread too much.
I really like shrine income, and I definitely go crazy with it with a financial civ like Huyana or Mansa. Both make me very :gold: :gold: :gold: indeed.
I like my religion spreading to the AIs.
Am I missing something?

SpartanPete,
What a great idea? I really like the concept of scientists and buildings having a "nationality", granting a certain technology after a certain threshold has been reached.
Alas, this is not done outside of modding, which I believe was posted earlier.
Thanks for the idea...
